School Board members play an integral part in setting the policy for the schools your children attend, and setting the budget your tax dollars support.

So voting for a School Board member should be on the basis of more than just a road sign.  School Board candidates should let you know where they stand, and if they have a voting record – let you know what it is.

Chris Braunlich served on the Fairfax County School Board from January 1996 to December 2003, casting hundreds of votes affecting FCPS employees, students and parents.  Here are just a few of those votes.  Many did not pass, but they’re a solid indication of where Chris Braunlich stands … and how he will vote in the future –
